PEACE NJ, Trout Unlimited, the Musconetcong Watershed Association and Hackettstown Recreation are presenting a series of three workshops for kids 8-12. In the three workshops, participants will learn:
- About the watershed

- Where fish live in the river

-What fish eat and other needs

-Which fish live in the Musconetcong

- How to get a fishing license
- About fishing gear
-Fishing safety
- Casting & catching your first fish
- And much more!

Kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

How YOU can help as a volunteer:

- Experienced anglers-- by volunteering and to help teach kids how to cast on that day (predominantly spin/push button)

- By helping collect donated rods/reels in working order before the event. All collected gear will be utilized to teach children and adults who don’t currently have equipment but would like to give fishing a try.

--Volunteers to assist running the event--Great for responsible students needing community service hours

Cómo USTED puede ayudar:
- Si usted es un pescador experimentado, siendo voluntario y ayudando a enseñar a los niños cómo pescar.

- Ayudando a recolectar cañas de pescar y carretes donados en buen estado antes del evento. Todo el material recogido se utilizará para enseñar a los niños.
